Fashion Architecton
Fascinated by work of fashion designer Iris van Herpen, I wanted to translate the essence of her work into architectural form. She is interested in the mobility of the designs and sense of movement. In this regard, I used the theme of water- to me, an ultimate medium of movement.
I shaped stripped plexi with heat gun to make them resemble drops of ink dancing in the water. Then, I wanted to accentuate the play of light, caught in the texture of the plexi, by adding vibrant colours and putting this architectural form into possible context.
