Dominika Kolenda has been studying Fine Arts, Sociology and Biology as her A levels. Currently, she is about to start studying Fine Arts course at the Oxford University. She pursues seemingly binary stages as mutually non-exclusive. She identifies her artworks with the concept of objectivity introduced by J. Kristeva. The idea of a distorted sense of cleanliness due to impure physiology was influential in the way how she perceives and expresses human nature both as a living organism and when it becomes a decomposing matter. She believes that art does not have to be humanistic; it can be based on scientific models and laws. Her interdisciplinary practice is what she wants to push further during her studies in order to investigate the fusion of complementary sectors that allow for comprehensive analysis of the surrounding world.
